Call for Applications: 2026 Founders' Fellows Class

The Founders' Fellows program is now accepting applications for its 2026 class! Applicants undergo a rigorous review process, competing for one of 30 spots. The deadline to apply is Monday, November 17, at 11:59 p.m., Eastern.

Applicants must submit the following items prior to consideration:

• Contact information and relevant biographical details
• An outline of career and research interests
• A resume or curriculum vitae
• An essay
• A letter of recommendation. The recommender must also be a current ASPA member
  • Note to applicants: Be sure to upload the recommender’s letter as a part of your application. Your application is incomplete without the letter of recommendation; the letter should not be submitted separately or via email.

Eligibility Requirements:

• All applicants must be a currently enrolled graduate student (master's or doctoral level) or a new professional (within three years of having graduated from an academic program)
• All applicants must be current ASPA members
• All recommenders must be current ASPA members

If accepted, Fellows receive the following benefits:

• Guaranteed acceptance to present their work at ASPA's 2026 Annual Conference, March 20-24 in Hollywood, CA, including complimentary registration and hotel room
• A year-long mentorship with a senior mentor in the discipline, matched with each Fellow based on professional and academic interests
• Tailored professional improvement webinars that address their specific educational and professional needs
